Every year about this time, I would occassionally channel surf and land on PBS where bits and pieces of Austin City Limits would be shown. Now I’m here, in the heart of Texas, less than two hours away from Zilker Park in Austin where the annual music festival is held. Though I would very much like to attend, I will not be this year due to lack of fundage. single tear ;-( A few of the great bands I will be missing are as follows:

So what plans do I have for the weekend? Checking out some local parks with the pup while husband does philosophy in his office. and not attending austin city limits. dang. I guess there’s always PBS…

My understanding is that it’s very difficult to get tickets under the best of circumstances. You can only buy tickets in person and they randomly choose the locations shortly before the shows.
Too had, though, G. Love & The Special Sauce??
